Operation PARKER

OVERVIEW

The conflict on Isla Perra has rapidly deteriorated as communist insurgents and narco forces launch a coordinated campaign to overthrow the local government. Much of the island has fallen beyond the control of the Gendarmerie, leaving the capital as its final defended stronghold.

A total communications blackout has isolated Isla Perra from the outside world. It remains unknown who is orchestrating the blackout or whether it forms part of the wider offensive.

With a major corporate and research presence in the capital, Divona is deploying to protect its sites, extract personnel from threatened areas and work alongside the remaining Gendarmerie forces. Reports of possible Chinese military activity in the north have further complicated the crisis, although their intentions are unknown.

A heavily armed and militarised police service, largely due to the absence of a conventional military presence.

A powerful criminal organisation with multiple factions and associates operating across Isla Perra.
Led by the Rio Seco Familia, one of the island's most influential and ruthless crime families.
Controls significant portions of the island's illicit trade, smuggling and criminal networks.
Has established links with local businesses, officials and elements of the Isla Perra Government.
Known for corruption, intimidation and the use of violence to maintain its influence.

Communist Movement

NLA 12

A heavily armed communist revolutionary movement operating throughout Isla Perra.
Seeks to overthrow the existing government and establish a revolutionary socialist state.
Operates through rural camps, hidden compounds and sympathetic communities across the island.
Financed through extortion, smuggling, kidnapping and taxation of criminal activity.
Maintains a sizeable network of armed guerrillas, informants and local sympathisers.

Divona declares an emergency in the Isla Perra region as NLA12 forces close in on the Capital in an attempt to overthrow the local Gendamarie forces. Divona withdraws all employees nationally as rumours stir that Task Force Mars are to be deployed.

23/08/26

Divona's Task Force Mars "Ares Company" Elements engage with NLA12 forces in the Capital Region, eventually securing the region and pushing NLA12 back into their Western Strongholds.

27/08/26

Divona declares the Capital safe with the installation of Air Defence systems and the deployment of Brannoc Security Forces to assist national Police as business returns to normal.

27/08/26

Task Force Mars expand their efforts North and engage with Rio Seco Cartel forces at narcotic production camps in the deep jungle.

30/08/26

Divona successfully powers up the national hydroelectric Dam, bringing power back to the majority of isolated settlements in the region.
